I love mexican food, especially fajitas. I used to buy fajita seasoning packets (the Taco Bell ones) but those don't have histamine friendly ingredients. So now I make this instead!
Try it out with this easy low histamine chicken fajita rice bowl.

2 tsp Sweet Paprika
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Oregano
1 tsp Onion
1 tsp Garlic
1 tsp Sugar (optional, I usually leave it out)

I use this to season my taco meat too! Works so well.
so do I!
How much of this seasoning do you use for each pound of your taco meat? Thanks!
Paprika is a high histamine
Yes some types of paprika are high histamine. According to the SIGHI list that I follow, sweet paprika is rated a level 0, I should be more clear about that in my instructions. Everyone tolerates things differently, so if paprika doesn’t work for you then definitely avoid it! 🙂
